Yo, listen up, here's the story About a little girl that lives in a blue world And all day and all night and everything she sees is just blue Like her, inside and outside~ (except for Sawyer, of course, heheheh)
Thus far, I've only read Act One, but already I'm invested in the story~ I want to see what becomes of Diana and Sawyer, especially after that cliffhanger of an ending! I also adored both the music and the art—the portraits in particular had a ton of charm and character to them, and I thought your use of silhouettes at certain points added quite a lot, heheh~
I'll be sure to check out Act Two and leave another comment later on!
MAN THIS ONE IS ROUGH and i mean that very positively! really good shit. i love diana's cartoon meat on bone shirt. i like the font a lot. the writing of the casual dialogue and diana's internal monologuing is really well done, and it hurts in all the places it should. diana's possessive paranoia is painful, and as relatable as it is something you want to scream at the screen over. the constant metaphor of the kaiju as the self is so strong and heartbreaking.
cheering you on for further acts! i hope they can talk it out sometime soon.
Aghhh I hope there's a continuation at some point!!!! I got invested into the characters so fast, and wanted to know what was eating Sawyer up. You did an amazing job at putting down on the page the paranoid and hurtful thoughts of someone like Diana, and it hurt to read in a good way. I've been there. That constant back and forth, that feeling that this one person has to be the one to finally save you.
Loved this, and I hope I'll get to play more in the future.
this was surprisingly alluring and i was really getting into the scenario and story and mindset of diana but then it just stopped! very nice writing and verbose prose, cute art and great music direction but arghh previous comment is right it ends so suddenly and too soon... will be on the lookout for more
I really hope you do make more of this, because I was really taken by your writing! I really want to see what happens between Diana and Sawyer... you tap into a lot of relatable anxious feelings, worrying if you're bothering someone else, so this does work as a standalone story, but I just really want to see more!
